In brief

Everything on this website is general information and not a diagnosis or personal medical advice. Results vary from person to person, and every operation carries risks.

Please read this page before relying on anything you find on this website.

Is the information on this website medical advice?

No. The articles and guides here are general information about secondary rhinoplasty, written to help you understand the subject.

They are not a diagnosis, and they are not a treatment recommendation for you personally. Only a surgeon who has examined you, or reviewed your photos and operation history, can advise on your own nose.

Will my results match what I read or see here?

Results vary. Healing, skin thickness, the structure left by earlier surgery and many other factors differ from one person to the next.

Revision surgery aims at improvement, not perfection. No one can promise a specific outcome, and nothing on this website should be read as a guarantee.

What do the before-and-after photos show?

The photos show individual results at an early stage of healing, with swelling still present. They represent one person’s experience only.

Your own result may look different, and your shape will keep changing for many months. The photos are not a prediction of what your surgery will achieve.

What risks does surgery carry?

Every operation carries risks, including bleeding, infection, scarring, reactions to anesthesia, breathing problems and results that need further correction. Revision surgery can be more complex than a first operation.

A surgeon should discuss these risks with you in detail before you decide. Take your time with that decision, and ask for anything you do not understand to be explained.

What should I do in an emergency?

Do not use this website, or a WhatsApp message, for urgent problems. If you have heavy bleeding, trouble breathing, severe pain, a high fever, chest pain or any sudden change that worries you, seek care immediately.

Call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department. Wherever you are, local care comes first. You can tell us afterward.

This page is general information written for patients. It does not replace a consultation or examination, and the right plan for your nose can only be set by a surgeon who has assessed you.
