This policy explains what information this website and the practice behind it collect, why, and what rights you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed past, so we have kept it short.
What does this website collect about me?
This website does not collect personal data itself. It is a static site with no user accounts, no login, and no database of visitors.
The site sets no advertising or third-party cookies and runs no analytics. The only cookie it can set is the first-party source cookie described in the next section. We do not track which pages you read, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Cookies, campaign data and reference codes
The site sets one necessary first-party cookie that stores where your visit came from: the first and the last campaign or source data, meaning UTM parameters, ad click IDs, the referring site, the landing page and the date. It is kept for 60 days. A second cookie remembers your cookie choices. Optional analytics and marketing cookies stay off unless you allow them in the cookie settings, and the site does not use any of them at the moment.
When you send a WhatsApp message from the site, a short reference code (for example SR-GO-7K2Q) is added to it. The code lets the team see which source the enquiry came from, and nothing more.
No third-party advertising cookies are set. The answers you give in the online assessment are not stored on a server. They are sent only if you press the WhatsApp button and send the message yourself.
Which third parties see my visit?
Two outside services are involved when you browse the site: our hosting provider and Google Fonts.
The site is hosted on a virtual private server. Like any web host, our hosting provider may process technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver pages to your browser.
The site also loads its fonts from Google’s servers. Because of this, Google can see your IP address when a page loads. We do not control how Google handles that data, and you can read its own privacy information on its website.
What happens when I use the contact form?
The contact form does not store anything. When you fill it in, it opens WhatsApp with the details you typed already placed in a message.
Nothing is sent until you press send inside WhatsApp. If you close the chat instead, the message goes nowhere. We never receive your typed details through the website itself.
What happens to photos and medical history I send over WhatsApp?
Contact with the practice takes place over WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. When you message us, WhatsApp handles your messages under its own terms and privacy policy.
To assess your case, you may choose to send photos of your nose and details of your previous surgery. These are health data, which are a special category of personal data. We treat them accordingly:
- We use them only to assess your case and plan treatment.
- We share them only with the surgical team.
- We keep them confidential.
- We delete them when you ask us to.
You decide what to send. You can ask a question without sharing any photos at all.
Which laws apply?
Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) applies to the practice. Under this law, health data may be processed only with your explicit consent or on other grounds the law allows. By sending us your photos and history, you are asking us to review them for the purpose described above.
If you are visiting from the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have rights under data protection law in your own country. In general terms, these include the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted
- object to how your data is used
Are before-and-after photos on the site real patients?
Yes. Before-and-after photos on this website are shown with the consent of the patients pictured. A patient who has agreed can ask us to take their photos down.
How do I make a privacy request?
Send us a message over WhatsApp using the details on our contact page. Tell us what you would like: a copy of what we hold, a correction, deletion, or an objection to a particular use.
We will answer as soon as we reasonably can. We may need to confirm that the request really comes from you before acting on it, because we would not want to delete or release someone else’s information by mistake.
Will this policy change?
It may. If we add analytics, new cookies, or any new service that handles visitor data, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
You can also contact us over WhatsApp at any time with questions about how your information is handled.
